At the Cybersecurity Research Lab at Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research, I built and configured a pfSense firewall lab and deployed a SOC lab for security monitoring and investigation. I also configured tools and infrastructure for log analysis, alert investigation, and attack simulation.

In my SOC Home Lab, I built a Windows environment with Wazuh and Sysmon and developed five custom detection rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK. I simulated attacks with MITRE Caldera and Hydra, then analyzed logs and triaged false positives to isolate true detections.
