What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level role in investment research/valuation where I can use DCF/CCA modelling, identify catalysts and risks, and turn deep research into clear recommendations for a fund or investment team.

I’m an investment-focused junior analyst, currently building valuation-driven recommendations through the Edinburgh University Trading and Investment Club. I enjoy turning research into actionable decision support—screens, models, and concise investment narratives that the fund team can use immediately.

In my role, I researched Enel SpA and delivered a buy recommendation supported by valuation analysis and identification of 6 catalysts and risks. I constructed a one-page screener and longer report using detailed CCA and DCF models, and my analysis produced an implied 40% return, then translated it into a 10-slide pitch deck for the fund team.

Beyond investing research, I’ve developed reliability and client-facing precision as a Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa bartender, where I managed hundreds of transactions daily and ensured accurate reporting for the accounts department. This work strengthened my ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards in fast-paced environments.

I also bring leadership experience from CTCRM, where I was selected as Devon Team Captain and Section Commander. I instructed a 10-person section during demanding training tasks under time pressure, and was awarded the Sir Steuart Pringle Trophy for best team performance in the First Aid task—qualities I aim to bring to any investment team. I’m studying MA Economics with Finance (predicted 2:1) with relevant courses in Financial Economics and Principles and Applications of Finance.
