Rey Neill

I am a full-stack software engineer and former CTO who builds agentic AI systems, infrastructure and production-ready products. I focus on pragmatic solutions that combine reliability, security and developer velocity.

I co-founded a San Francisco startup and single-handedly built the product, infrastructure and multi-layered agent-in-the-loop orchestration for channel-specific interactions. I designed structured interaction nodes, multi-account messaging support and integrated multiple model providers to balance intelligence, tool use and security.

Earlier I joined an inference provider as an AI service beta tester and grew into a technical lead role, managing a five-engineer team and shipping platform-wide CI/CD and UI/UX redesigns. I ultimately served as CTO, where I pushed technical direction and governance before departing over strategic differences.

I have applied AI in varied settings: fine-tuning LLMs for customer support, re-architecting inference deployments to reduce cost and improve scale, and building realtime AI audio calls using SIP and Twilio. I also have experience administering databases and designing mobile applications from my earlier roles.

I am looking to join a mission-driven company where I can have bigger impact—leading engineering, owning end-to-end product and infrastructure, and shipping agentic AI that scales in production. I bring hands-on execution, system design and team leadership to rapidly move ideas into reliable products.
