At Kilimanjaro Research Institute, I coordinate the REMIND KID TRIAL and East Africa Point of Care- Viral Load Monitoring studies. My work includes coordinating trial procedures and preparing study reports.

I develop Case Report Forms and informed consent forms, and coordinate weekly site and field visits. I also organize and supervise field team activities and oversee the data management team.

Previously, as a Research assistant at Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute, I worked on the Mountain climbers’ study, Arthritis study, Remind TB study and Remind KID formative study. I conducted surveys, interviews and focus groups, and analysed interview data using Nvivo.

In those projects, I created databases using Redcap and worked on data entry, cleaning and analysis using STATA cops. I also participated in abstract writing and presented at international and national conferences. I’m looking to develop my career in a more challenging environment and offer quality service while sharing my experience.
