At RSM Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman (RSM International), I lead statutory audit engagements from planning through report issuance, applying ISAs, the Companies Act 2017 and RSM global audit methodology. I develop audit strategies from risk assessment and evaluate internal controls across clients in sectors including public services, aviation and logistics.
I prepare annual and condensed interim financial statements under IFRS, including group consolidation for logistics and security services companies. My work also includes third-party pension verification for a national aviation entity and contributions to transaction audits on federal privatisation engagements.
As job in-charge, I supervise and review junior associates’ work, coach them on the job and finalise CaseWare audit files for manager and partner review. I’m a Chartered Accountancy finalist at ICAP, with 20 of 21 papers cleared and the Strategic Case Study remaining.
