At the Uganda Virus Research Institute, I apply statistical methods to immunology studies and work with investigators on research design and data interpretation. My work includes optimising assays for detecting responses to Ebola, Marburg, and other emerging threats.
At Elgon Centre for Health Research and Innovation, I implemented statistical modelling, machine learning, and interactive dashboards. As Assistant Biostatistician for the iTECH project at Makerere University, I wrote over 100 R and Python scripts to analyze data for stillbirth prediction modelling.
At Sanyu Africa Research Institute, I coordinated hub data collectors and supported quality data collection and entry for the Babygel Study. Earlier, as a Statistician at ICS Engineering and Environment, I analyzed socioeconomic, livelihood, and vulnerability data for the Uganda section of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline RAPI project.
My experience also includes randomized controlled trials and study methodology at One Acre Fund, business analysis and financial modelling at Baridi Stores Limited, and data integrity work at National Social Security Fund. I use R, Python, SQL, and Linux, and hold a Bachelor of Statistics and a Master of Science in Statistics.
