Pushpesh Kumar

I'm a 2025 Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) graduate from Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru, actively seeking roles in data analytics, risk analytics, and decision intelligence.

Over the past two years, I've built 15+ end-to-end analytics projects that go well beyond coursework — analyzing $55M in credit card transactions, $253M in loan portfolios, and 193,000+ product reviews to surface insights that directly inform business decisions. My strongest technical tools are SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), Power BI with DAX, and Excel — and I'm comfortable taking a problem from raw data all the way through to a dashboard or recommendation a non-technical stakeholder can act on.

On the professional side, I worked as a contract Application Developer at ConcevDigital and Aalsipen, where I built a real-time Power BI analytics dashboard for a multi-tenant CRM tracking 1,000+ leads, and automated reporting workflows that cut manual effort by around 50%. I've also completed internships at Tetherfi Technologies, InUnity, and Agrictools, where I worked on REST API integration, product analytics instrumentation, and Agile product delivery.

A few projects I'm particularly proud of: I applied Monte Carlo simulation across 49 Nifty-50 stocks to map the Efficient Frontier and identify optimal portfolios for different risk profiles; I built a six-page Power BI dashboard on credit and loan data that reversed a common assumption — low-utilization customers actually had higher delinquency than heavy users; and I ran NLP sentiment analysis on 193,000 ChatGPT reviews to surface user friction points and product improvement signals.

Beyond analytics, I have leadership experience as YI Yuva Chair under Young Indians (CII), and I was selected among the Top 12 teams nationally in Cognizant's Digital Nurture 2023 challenge. I'm currently deepening my ML and MLOps skills through Crio's Data Science Program.
