At Excelya Turkey, I progressed from Site Coordinator and Clinical Trial Assistant to Study Start Up Specialist, CRA, Sr. CRA and Lead CRA. Since April 2025, I’ve worked as a Freelancer & Contractor in Local Project & Oversight Manager, LCRA and Sr. CRA roles.
As a Lead CRA and in my current work, I mentor and support CRAs, conduct oversight and co-visits, and help teams meet study objectives and quality standards. I also support monitoring plans, report review, budgets, vendor management, audits and inspections.
As a Sr. CRA and CRA, I monitored clinical trials across areas including gastroenterology, oncology, infection diseases, rheumatology, neurology and metabolic diseases. My work included regulatory submissions, site monitoring, source document verification, safety and investigational product oversight, and monitoring reports.
I also worked in study start-up and site coordination, supporting regulatory and ethics committee submissions, investigator contracts, trial documentation and site activities. I joined a rare diseases rescue study in 2020 as the main CRA during the COVID situation; one site became a top recruiter, and we received a recommendation letter from the sponsor.
