At Banco Santander International SA, I standardized heterogeneous Solaris, Windows, and Linux Oracle environments on Oracle Database Appliance HA platforms. I used Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, and RMAN/NetBackup recovery architectures to address single points of failure and improve platform resilience.
This work established a mission-critical database platform designed for high availability and simpler operations, with service availability approaching 99.99%. I also became one of the driving forces behind the bank's transition to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer.
Working with Data Warehouse teams, I engineered Oracle database solutions to improve ETL performance and enterprise data processing. I also designed and led development of a Core Banking database lifecycle framework that creates database snapshots before and after Close of Business.
Across my work supporting Swiss private banking and multinational organizations, I have focused on platforms that remain available, recoverable, secure, and efficient. I believe technology is most valuable when business users can trust it and focus on serving their clients.
