For 23 years, I asked whether a system actually behaved as claimed, working in technical acceptance, calibration, and life-cycle maintenance for high-consequence technical systems. I implemented and audited a quality management system across an entire maintenance centre, directed divisions of more than 300 staff, and handled field maintenance alone during a deployment abroad.

In 2026, I brought that discipline to software verification. Working independently, I test whether quality gates actually fire: I remove the guard, rerun the suite, and check whether the original failure returns. In one CI pipeline, 58 test scenarios lost every verdict while the platform reported success; I found the overwritten exit code by reading the source line by line.
