I seek a role where I can apply public-sector and environmental law expertise to policy, compliance, and litigation, with opportunities for impact and professional growth.

I am an experienced legal professional with a strong background in public-sector law, contract drafting, litigation and compliance. I hold an LL.B (Hons.), B.L., an LL.M., and am pursuing a Master's in Climate Change Law and Environmental Policy.

In my recent role at Lagos State New Towns Development Authority I progressed from Senior Legal Officer to Principal Legal Officer, leading negotiations, supervising legal staff, overseeing litigation, and developing compliance programs. I have a proven track record of protecting institutional interests and mitigating legal risks.

As a former principal partner of a private practice and earlier roles with established law firms, I drafted and reviewed contracts across varied sectors, supported start-ups with incorporation and post-incorporation issues, and prepared persuasive court applications and oral arguments that contributed to favorable outcomes.

I bring a commitment to promoting sustainable, rights-based approaches to law and policy, particularly around environmental protection and reproductive rights, and I seek to apply my public-sector and commercial legal experience toward impactful policy and compliance work.
