What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a laboratory-focused role where I can support microbiology and scientific research with safe lab practices, accurate sample processing, inventory control, and data collection—while collaborating with a team that values evidence-based work and mentorship.

I’m a dedicated Biological Sciences graduate and Biology Laboratory Technician with practical experience spanning laboratory management, microbiology, biotechnology, and scientific research support. Across my roles, I’ve focused on precise sample collection and processing, reagent preparation, and maintaining laboratory safety and biosafety standards.

In my internship at Kisii University under the Public Service Commission Internship Program (Cohort 8), I supported laboratory and registry operations through records management, documentation, and laboratory sample records and inventory management. I also bring strong scientific workflow discipline—handling laboratory equipment, supporting research activities, and ensuring accurate scientific data management alongside day-to-day coordination.

As an Assistant Teacher and Laboratory Technician at Kuna Secondary School (2021–2025), I managed Biology and Chemistry laboratory practical sessions, prepared laboratory reagents, specimens, and samples, and ensured equipment readiness and safe procedures. I also mentored students during scientific research and innovation activities, supported Kenya Science and Engineering Fair (KSEF) preparation up to county level, and served as Head of Department (Sciences), applying teamwork, problem solving, and analytic skills to help students and projects succeed.
