Nyah Espanol

I am a dedicated and compassionate dialysis nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lorma Colleges, Inc. Since June 2024, I have been providing bedside hemodialysis to patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure. My role involves not only monitoring vital signs and adjusting treatment goals in coordination with physicians but also educating patients and their families about the dialysis process and post-treatment care. I thrive in high-pressure environments, responding effectively to emergencies such as hypotension and cardiac arrhythmias.

Prior to my current position, I gained valuable experience as a Pediatric Operating Room Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, where I performed pre-operative assessments and assisted in surgical procedures. My hands-on experience in the ICU as a preceptee further honed my skills in caring for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. I am committed to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring positive health outcomes.
