What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a textile/apparel role where I can lead end-to-end sourcing and buying operations, improve on-time delivery, manage critical paths and lead-time negotiations, and use data analysis to protect margin while strengthening supplier performance.

I’m a self-motivated textile and apparel sourcing professional with 20+ years of experience in Istanbul, Turkey, covering sourcing, merchandising, product development, supplier management, and buying-related operations. I focus on building strong supplier performance while keeping critical paths, lead times, and quality follow-up under control.

Most recently, as Sourcing Manager, I managed end-to-end sourcing, merchandising, and buying operations across denim, knitwear, non-denim, shirts, socks, jersey, bathrobe, and towel categories. I led fit/development meetings, managed on-time delivery targets, and ran critical path and risk assessment routines—supported by data analysis and KPI tracking.

Earlier, as Senior Merchandiser and Merchandiser, I owned development-to-bulk sourcing processes, handled supplier price and lead-time projects, and coordinated production meetings to secure correct execution in the required lead time. Before that, as a Senior Developer, I managed textile product development from material to final product, ran seasonal development priorities, and protected margin targets through supplier price meetings and careful risk assessment.
