I am a dedicated professional with 27 years of experience in psychological counseling and clinical practice in Sri Lanka. My expertise includes managing acute and chronic psychiatric patients, both adults and children, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, and other disabilities. I have honed my skills in drug management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and community psychiatry, contributing to both individual and community well-being.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in various sectors, including health, education, and industry. My role as a psychological and educational counselor has allowed me to address learning-related issues in school children and teenagers, while also mentoring university students facing challenges such as substance abuse. I have developed and implemented counseling programs that have positively impacted many lives, demonstrating my commitment to mental health and education.

In addition to my counseling experience, I have a strong academic background, having served in senior academic roles and contributed to curriculum development and research supervision. My multidisciplinary clinical practice and teaching expertise position me uniquely to contribute to interdisciplinary teaching, clinical leadership, and health research.
