Nigel Nyamapfeni

I am a Chartered Global Management Accountant (ACMA, CGMA) with hands-on experience in mining finance, management accounting, treasury and project accounting gained at Zimplats. I bring practical expertise in cost reporting, variance analysis and budget planning for large-scale operations.

At Zimplats I manage accounts payable for high-value suppliers (monthly invoices in excess of US$2.0 million), prepare periodical cost reports for a 2.0 million tonnes per annum mine, and lead cost review and financial evaluations to support management decision-making.

My background includes setting up and managing projects in SAP, capitalizing assets, preparing project and steering committee reports, and consolidating management reporting for weekly, monthly and board-level reviews. I have experience in treasury functions, sundry debtors recovery and liaising with auditors and key stakeholders.

I am proactive, results-oriented and skilled in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). I seek to contribute my financial planning, internal control and analytical skills to a growth-oriented organization focused on strong financial governance and performance improvement.
