What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead SOX/ICS assurance and GRC, strengthen internal controls, and deliver IFRS/HGB reporting with clear stakeholder communication—ideally in a regulated environment and open to relocation across Europe.

I’m a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with 7+ years of international experience across internal audit, external audit, SOX 302 & 404, PCAOB, and IFRS/HGB financial reporting. I focus on linking audit work, internal controls, and financial reporting to reduce risk in regulated environments.

In my most recent role as Team Manager – Internal Audit, Accounting & GRC at Cognizant, I led SOX 302 & 404 planning and oversight of ICS controls testing across 4 international sectors. I designed and assessed Internal Control Systems (ICS) using COSO 2013, executed Control Self-Assessments (CSA), and drove remediation roadmaps—reducing repeat deficiencies by 25%.

Previously at PwC, I supported Fortune 500 group audits (SEC/PCAOB/US GAAP/HGB/IFRS), including group accounting, consolidation, intercompany eliminations, capital and debt consolidation, IFRS 3 (PPA), IAS 21 FX translation, and IFRS 8 segment reporting for groups with 20+ entities. I also performed SOX group audit work, ITGC testing, deficiency reporting, and internal audit tasks such as fraud risk assessment and walkthroughs.

I’m comfortable leading teams (coaching and mentoring qualified audit professionals) and using tools like SAP FI/CO, Oracle, DATEV, Alteryx, Excel, and UiPath to improve control quality and reporting efficiency.
