Nadeesha Chandrasiri

As a passionate designer and artist, I hold a Bachelor of Visual Arts with a specialization in ceramics from the University of Visual and Performing Arts in Colombo, Sri Lanka. My academic journey has equipped me with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, culminating in a comprehensive final year project and dissertation focused on eco-friendly food preservation using terracotta materials.

In my professional experience, I have led design teams at various organizations, including Red Cocoon Pottery Studio and Midaya Ceramic Company, where I developed innovative products and conducted workshops. My role as a Management Trainee at Samson Rajarata Tiles allowed me to oversee a team of 20, enhancing my leadership and management skills while improving design processes for export orders.

With a strong foundation in various design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I am adept at both 2D and 3D design. I am committed to continuous learning and have participated in numerous training programs to refine my skills in ceramic hand painting and modeling. I thrive in collaborative environments and am eager to contribute my creativity and expertise to new projects.
