At Jadavpur University Central Library, I gained practical experience in day-to-day library operations during a six-month internship. I assisted with cataloguing and maintaining books, journals, and periodicals.
I used KOHA for digital record entry and gained practical exposure to RFID and library automation. I also worked with OPAC to support information and resource discovery.
I assisted with circulation services for students, alumni, researchers, and staff, and helped organize, arrange, and preserve library resources.
I'm currently pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science (Digital Library) at Jadavpur University. My interests include digital libraries, information organization, information management, and user-oriented library services.
