Muna Shurie

I am a pharmacist with an MBA in Health Leadership & Management and practical experience across community, hospital, industry, and research pharmacy settings. I blend clinical pharmacy skills with systems-level thinking to improve access to medicines and patient outcomes.

My experience includes internships in community pharmacy and pharmaceutical research where I supported dispensing, patient counselling, pharmacovigilance, ADR reporting, and investigational product handling. I have applied digital pharmacy systems and managed inventory, expiry monitoring, and supplier coordination.

As an MBA graduate I emphasize health systems strengthening, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based decision-making, and I have led and contributed to research and innovation projects such as a graduate thesis on counterfeit emergency contraception and a digital medicine-tracking concept.

I bring stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities, a strong grounding in pharmaceutical supply chains, and a commitment to improving medicine safety and access through practical, data-informed solutions.
