At Design Unicus, I monitor Linux server logs, authentication events, and Microsoft Defender alerts, escalating confirmed incidents with supporting evidence.

I investigate suspicious logins and unusual access patterns by correlating authentication and system logs. I document root causes and remediation mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, and track incident remediation to closure in ServiceNow.

At Purdue University, I monitored security logs and network traffic, analyzed DNS and HTTP traffic in Wireshark, and reviewed vulnerability scan findings. I documented risks and recommendations in technical documentation and risk assessment reports.

In security projects, I connected Windows and Entra ID log sources to Microsoft Sentinel and created analytics rules and queries for failed-login spikes and suspicious sign-ins. I’ve also built a self-hosted Splunk lab for authentication log monitoring and authored an incident response playbook aligned with NIST guidance.
