At the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), I conducted risk-based IT and compliance inspections across banks and financial institutions, assessing technology systems, application controls and reporting channels against SARB standards.

I certified new and upgraded IT systems, core banking platforms and reporting channels before go-live, assessing system controls, data integrity and compliance. I also used SAS, Excel and Power BI to test cross-border transaction and Balance of Payments data.

As a Project Assurance Auditor (IT Audit) at SARB, I planned and executed risk-based IT audits for projects, assessed governance and control effectiveness, and tracked corrective actions. Earlier, as an ICT Audit Intern at the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS), I reviewed IT controls and supported system walkthroughs and risk assessments.
