What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote Senior/Lead Quality Engineering or SDET role focused on complex backend, API or distributed systems. I’m most interested in test architecture, performance, reliability, CI/CD and system-level quality, with hands-on technical ownership rather than people management.

I’m a Senior Lead SDET with 12+ years in quality engineering, specialising in test architecture, backend/API automation, performance engineering, and quality strategy for complex distributed systems.

I’ve worked on digital-asset and fintech systems involving cryptocurrency transactions, event-driven Kafka workflows, authentication flows including FIDO2 and OTP, APIs, web applications, and CI/CD pipelines. My work spans functional automation, integration testing, performance testing, failure investigation, and end-to-end system quality.

My strongest area is not simply building test scripts — it is understanding how a system behaves across services and integration boundaries, identifying where it can fail, and designing the right combination of automation, performance testing, observability, and engineering controls around those risks.

I work primarily with TypeScript/JavaScript, Java and Python, using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Gatling, JMeter, k6, Kafka, Docker, SQL/NoSQL and API testing tools. I also use AI-assisted engineering extensively for implementation, debugging, analysis and accelerating quality-engineering workflows.

I’m particularly interested in remote Senior/Lead/Staff-level Quality Engineering, SDET and Performance Engineering roles involving distributed systems, fintech, payments, crypto, platform engineering or other high-reliability products.
