Mihiret Getu

I’m a third-year Computer Science student with a strong interest in software development, problem solving, and technology. I’m familiar with programming, databases, and web development, and I enjoy working through technical challenges with a team.

Through my studies at Wolkite University, I’ve built a foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Systems, Web Development, OOP, Computer Networks, and Software Engineering. I use this knowledge to support practical work across both front-end and back-end tasks.

I’ve developed projects such as a Blood Bank Management System and a Reminder Mobile App, focusing on connecting user-facing features with underlying data handling. I’ve also explored graphics and animation work, and created a 3D building model using OpenGL—strengthening my understanding of rendering and structure.

To grow beyond coursework, I completed the SEED Cohort 6 startup incubation program, where I trained in Business Development, Consultation, Product Development, and masterclass sessions. I’m eager to gain internship experience through collaborative projects that challenge me and help me expand my technical abilities.
