Michelle Lewis

I’m a DNP-prepared Advanced Practice Nurse and a PMHNP-C focused on psychiatric mental health care. I hold both Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification (PMHNP-C), along with ARNP licensure.

Since January 2023, I’ve served as a PMHNP at Balanced Well-Being, bringing a long clinical background from roles including APRN work with OPTUM and earlier practice settings such as Vitas Hospice and Brevard Geriatrics. My experience also includes hospital and nursing facility work, including ICU staffing at Cape Canaveral and Medical Intensive Care nursing at Holmes Regional Medical Center.

I’m committed to patient-centered, team-based care and I’ve also contributed through leadership and education. Through my involvement with Gerontologic Advanced Practice Nurse Association (including serving as elected President of the Florida GAPNA chapter), and through in-services for med techs, I focus on raising the standard of care for individuals and caregivers.
