Raj Maurya

I have been trained as a communication designer, photographer, visual artist, researcher and archivist and have extensive experience and qualifications in all these fields. My education in Photography Design gave me opportunities to take up various research-based projects. My last project was an Archiving project on River Sabarmati where I generated a visual archive of 3000 images and 10 videos ranging from period of 1930 to 2020 from multiple sources. My other projects also gave me opportunities to research and explore the geographical and cultural heritage of India. Having worked with various design-based projects which involved working and creating interactive maps using various tools and software adds to my suitability for this opportunity. I have always been an avid learner and continuous researcher and try to keep myself updated with all the national and international affairs in diverse fields. Additionally, I am also an history enthusiast who has keen interest in knowing the history and culture of the Indian sub-continent. I also have keen interest in learning and exploring new medias and technologies and have been recently learning and exploring the recent developments in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, AR and VR and have been exploring and practicing the possibilities of intersection of Arts, Media and Technologies.
