Matthew Petit
@matthewpetit
I build economic security ventures and align technology, diplomacy, and national security.
What I'm looking for
I’ve built a business vertical at Vannevar from scratch, taking an unproven product bet to market. My delivery, strategy, and product work quickly scaled deployments leading to nearly $10M in revenue in our first year.
Overall, I bring 18 years across the State Department, National Security Council, and overseas diplomacy, directing Sahel policy, counter-Russia strategy, sanctions, and security programs. I coauthor research on AI, geopolitics, and technology diplomacy while building agreement among government, industry, and international partners.
