At the U.S. Embassy in Lusaka, I operate sewage and wastewater treatment and water purification plant facilities as part of water and facilities operations.
I also maintain plumbing installations, water supply systems, drainage networks and sanitary facilities. I inspect water-related systems, troubleshoot faults, and undertake preventive and corrective maintenance.
At the Zambia Air Force, I worked in a treatment plant and supported the operation and maintenance of water treatment and supply infrastructure. I also participated in inspections and troubleshooting, and supported pipework and sanitation maintenance.
Earlier, I worked as a pipe fitter with contractors at Konkola Copper Mine and as a plumber with Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company. I hold a Diploma in Water Engineering and am a registered Engineering Technologist with the Engineering Institution of Zambia.
