Mark Ian Danas

I’m a motivated and detail-oriented management accounting student with practical experience as a Student Council Commission on Audit Commissioner and Reviewer. I’ve worked on examining, auditing, and reviewing financial statements, accounts, and funds to support better financial management.

In my audit roles (2024–2025), I reviewed, examined, and conducted audit work on the accounts, funds, financial transactions, and property owned or held in trust by student organizations. I also recommended measures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s financial management.

As a Reviewer, I focused on reviewing key financial statements, including the Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Activity, Summary of Cash Balances, Summary of Receipts and Disbursements, Statement of Cash Flows, and Notes to Financial Statements. I communicated with the organization’s treasurer to resolve errors and ensure necessary corrections.

I hold a National Certificate in Bookkeeping from TESDA and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting. I bring strong computer literacy with MS Office and Canva, along with collaboration, active listening, communication, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
