As a self-employed private tutor, I delivered personalized tutoring and homework support to primary school students. I tailored teaching methods to support students with learning needs and partnered with parents and educators to monitor progress.
I also taught at A2Zeeee Academy, where I taught literacy, numeracy, phonics, and reading skills to primary-level students. I prepared students for the Secondary Entrance Assessment and developed curriculum-based lessons using inquiry-based learning techniques.
At Jones Animal Clinic, I volunteered as a Veterinarian Assistant, assisting veterinarians with routine animal care procedures and minor surgical interventions. I also supported daily clinic operations alongside veterinary staff.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Mathematics from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. My work also includes a publication on the Northern Shoveler in The Online Guide to the Animals of Trinidad & Tobago.
