What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply my plant-floor controls experience and AI/ML training to build reliable, intelligent manufacturing systems, including automation, machine vision, edge AI, and modern industrial networking.

I deliver plant-floor automation systems, from PLC and HMI programming to commissioning and live-production troubleshooting. My work bridges Rockwell control hardware with practical AI and machine-vision applications.

At Convergix Automation Solutions, I migrate legacy Allen-Bradley PLC and PowerFlex VFD systems for facilities including ArcelorMittal, Stelco, Frito-Lay, McCormick, and TNPI. I convert ControlNet networks to EtherNet/IP, configure managed switches, develop Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View logic, and produce FAT/SAT documentation and commissioning runbooks.

Previously at Automation Alternatives, I designed and commissioned systems using PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo motors, and safety relays. I also resolved multi-vendor integration issues and trained engineers and client teams on startup, diagnostics, and safety-device configuration.

I bring motion-control and instrumentation experience from leading Rockwell Automation Motion solutions at Gerrie, alongside graduate training in AI and Machine Learning. I recently engineered an air-gapped Python, PyTorch, and OpenCV vision system for real-time manufacturing defect detection with local LLM operational summaries.
