What I'm looking for

I’m looking for translation work where accuracy and cultural appropriateness matter—media, political, or academic texts—paired with careful editing and terminology consistency. I also want to apply my CAT tools and machine translation evaluation/post-editing experience.

I am a detail-oriented English–Arabic Translator with strong academic grounding in translation studies. I bring experience translating media, political, and academic texts while maintaining accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and ideological awareness.

In my freelance work, I translated English texts into Arabic with high accuracy and supported news reports, academic texts, and general content. I focus on terminology consistency and natural Arabic style, and I apply critical thinking through Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to understand meaning in context.

I am currently pursuing an MA in Translation Studies, including research on ideology in news translation and comparative analysis of English–Arabic news translation. I’m also familiar with CAT tools (introductory/basic knowledge), machine translation evaluation, and machine translation post-editing, and I use tools like Microsoft Word and Google Docs to deliver polished results with careful proofreading and editing.
