What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a legal/compliance role where I can draft and manage contracts, strengthen regulatory governance, and reduce operational risk through clear processes, reviews, and risk-based recommendations—while growing my corporate law expertise with meaningful impact.

I am a Legal and Compliance Professional with a Bachelor of Law Degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management, and Certification in Commercial & Contract Law. I bring a practical compliance mindset focused on governance, operational controls, and reducing regulatory exposure.

Over the years at EQ-FIN (Pty) Ltd, I supported client onboarding processes and regulatory governance, risk management, and operational controls. I review commercial agreements and conduct due diligence and verification of client compliance, ensuring legal documentation that supports regulatory compliance in line with FICA and financial services regulations.

I also strengthened audit readiness through accurate documentation and record management, while liaising with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex administrative and compliance-related matters. I ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance procedures, and operational risk standards—so business decisions remain aligned with policy and regulatory obligations.

In my current role, I draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, including SLAs, NDAs, and contract amendments. I conduct legal and compliance reviews to identify contractual and regulatory risks, maintain and update contract templates across multiple business units, and support governance initiatives through compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting.
