At Our Lady of the Lake, I review inpatient and outpatient medical records to assess medical necessity, level of care, and service appropriateness. I compare clinical documentation with insurance requirements and utilization management criteria, and communicate with payers about authorization needs.
At Lake Urgent Care, I provide patient triage and perform CLIA testing, medication administration, splinting, and discharge planning. My other nursing experience includes surgical clinic care, inpatient rehabilitation, and telemetry.
I also worked in emergency services, medical laboratory operations, and phlebotomy, collecting and processing specimens across patient settings. I'm Epic trained and hold a Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse license.
