I am a dedicated and aspiring security engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya, currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Computer Networks and Security at Strathmore University. My career objective is to become a versatile professional in the field of information technology, specializing in risk assessment, incident response and safeguarding critical infrastructure. I am passionate about leveraging my knowledge in computer networks and cybersecurity to enhance organizational security posture and mitigate potential threats.

During my internship at KCB Bank Plc, I executed manual testing to uncover security weaknesses in web portals, mobile applications, and APIs, contributing to the enhancement of security across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). I actively participated in Scrum meetings, providing security input during development sprints and fostering cross-team collaboration in an Agile environment. Additionally, my experience at Chyulu Redd+ involved collaborating with design teams to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences, leading the integration of third-party APIs, and developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
