Kriti Chauhan

At SHUATS, I researched how foliar application of nano-micronutrients affected the growth, yield, and quality of parthenocarpic cucumber. I also presented research on agricultural applications of artificial intelligence and published work on cucumber and vegetable science.

My training includes crop protection products, safe handling, field application protocols, and integrated pest management at MARKFED Agrochemicals. I also gained experience diagnosing crop issues and recommending chemical solutions.

I’ve trained in mushroom production through NHRDF and in Moringa food processing, vermicomposting, and sustainable cultivation. My other agricultural experience includes rural field training and plant clinic training in crop health and pest management.

I’m pursuing a Master’s in Horticulture (Vegetable Science), building on my B.Sc. in Agriculture (Hons.). I received the Young Researcher Award in 2024 at the International Conclave on Entrepreneurial Development in Agribusiness and Sustainability of Agri-Tech in Self-Reliant Agriculture.
