@kjuser3
I build data platforms, pipelines, and teams that turn complex data into actionable information.
What I'm looking for
I'm currently building ELT onboarding processes and a greenfield reporting warehouse at Brandt Information Systems, using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, Power BI, and Microsoft Database Projects. I also established standards and tools for AI data development, including prompts, skills, MCP servers, and AI agents in GitHub Copilot.
At Red River, I led the migration of ETL/ELT pipelines from on-premises Alteryx to Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL, improving availability and repeatability. I redesigned a ServiceNow pipeline from days of processing to incremental completion in 15 minutes and introduced BI-team Git repositories, automated deployments, and DevOps training.
I've led data and technology strategy as Data and Technology Director at Rights and Democracy, managing staff, budgets, technology partnerships, and a Redshift-based data warehouse spanning CRM, voter outreach, fundraising, and accounting systems. During the Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign, I built campaign data pipelines and dimensional warehouse models, maintained Redshift and production pipelines, and delivered targeting reports and maps.
My earlier work at ReportingMD included data architecture, SQL development, database performance tuning, automated deployments, ETL optimization, and source control practices. Across healthcare, nonprofit, campaign, IT infrastructure, and software-vendor environments, I focus on reliable data systems, clear collaboration, and actionable reporting.
