What I'm looking for

I am seeking research or R&D roles in biotech/food safety where I can apply biofilm, microbiology, and sustainable materials expertise to solve practical problems and advance scalable, safe solutions.

I am a biotechnology researcher with hands-on experience in biofilm biology, food safety, and sustainable biomaterials, trained at SASTRA Deemed University and as a research intern at North Carolina State University.

My work has spanned laboratory research on antimicrobial solutions, biofilm-disruptive agents from seaweed bio-oil, and methods to reduce heavy-metal contamination in seafood using soaking and novel water treatments.

I have led and contributed to projects developing biodegradable mats from agro-waste and biopolymer-based antimicrobial food packaging, and I co-authored a publication in Food Bioscience demonstrating substantial biofilm eradication.

I bring practical experience in DNA isolation (GenBank submission), QC/QA exposure, medical textiles, and patient-sample analysis, and I seek roles where I can apply applied microbiology and bioprocessing skills to real-world food safety and sustainable materials challenges.
