At Simpson Spence Young, I build backend features for a ship broker platform used in global shipping operations. I led the DevOps work that moved the platform from development to a live Microsoft Azure production system used daily across the business.
I authored the company’s 60+ page Azure deployment and CI/CD guide, covering application code, databases, pipelines, and blob storage; it was adopted company-wide as the engineering standard. I design REST APIs and PostgreSQL schemas, and deliver full-stack TypeScript and React features.
Previously, I delivered end-to-end client systems as a freelance developer, including registration, learning management, class management, and smart parking applications. I also developed and deployed Java-based business and point-of-sale systems for H2-MED Business Enterprise.
