Katie Streeter

I am a new AGACNP DNP graduate with extensive hands-on experience in high-acuity critical care settings, including a verified Level 1 trauma center and burn ICU rotations. I bring years of bedside nursing practice and advanced clinical training focused on acute and chronic condition management.

As a registered nurse since 2016, I served as a charge nurse and developed proficiency in rapid assessment, invasive monitoring (arterial and central venous lines), and intracranial pressure management for traumatic brain injury patients. I have repeatedly demonstrated clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

I completed targeted clinical practicums in hospitalist departments and specialized burn ICU care, totaling substantial supervised clinical hours that reinforced my diagnostic and patient-management capabilities. I hold trauma nursing certification and current BLS and ACLS credentials.

I am committed to applying advanced practice skills to improve patient outcomes, mentor colleagues, and contribute effectively within multidisciplinary acute care teams at an institution that values evidence-based practice and high-quality trauma care.
