I’m a Data & Business Analyst with 3.5+ years of Big Four experience, combining data analytics, financial analysis, risk and systems knowledge to turn complex data into practical business insights.

At Data Science East Africa, I work with operational datasets using SQL, Power BI, Python and Excel to analyze performance, monitor KPIs, investigate exceptions and support data-driven decision-making.

Previously, at KPMG East Africa, I worked across financial services, insurance, manufacturing and other sectors, analyzing financial and operational data, identifying anomalies and control exceptions, performing reconciliations, and assessing the reliability of system-generated information. I also used Advanced Excel and Power Query to automate audit analytics and reduce testing time by approximately 20%.

My experience includes working with data from SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Sage 300, with a strong focus on data quality, reconciliation, controls and process improvement.

I hold a BSc in Economics & Statistics and completed Full-Stack Software Development training at Moringa School. This combination of business, statistical and technical experience allows me to understand both the numbers and the systems behind them.

I’m particularly interested in remote opportunities across Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Analysis, Financial Analytics, Risk Analytics and technology-enabled assurance.
