At Lloyds Banking Group, I own external reporting and statutory disclosures and advise on judgemental IFRS matters. I prepare and defend technical accounting papers for executive leadership, the Audit Committee, and external auditors.

I lead the interpretation and implementation of new IFRS standards across the Group, and maintain its accounting policies, accounting manual, and reporting frameworks. I also serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on complex accounting issues.

I piloted AI tools to accelerate first drafts of technical accounting papers and encouraged wider adoption across the team. I also designed and implemented key SOX financial reporting controls across complex business areas.

Previously, at KPMG LLP, I provided technical accounting support on complex financial transactions, financial instruments, and IFRS and US GAAP reporting. At PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), I led teams delivering IFRS implementation and conversion work, and I’m a qualified ACCA accountant.
