I'm co-founder and CTO of Lagarsoft, a Uruguay-based software partner for the AECO and real estate sectors, working with clients in the US, Europe and Latin America. Every engagement starts with a discovery process, and then we build custom software in two-week agile sprints.
I've been shipping production software since 2008. Before Lagarsoft I was a Senior Software Engineer at WeWork, where I contributed to the custom real estate and construction platform that supported the company's rapid growth. Earlier in my career I built Java web applications for electronic invoicing at Tilsor.
My core stack is Laravel/PHP and Java/Spring Boot on the back end, React and Next.js on the front end, and AWS for infrastructure: ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, Terraform, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions and OIDC. I also build Autodesk Platform Services integrations and Revit plugins.
Recent work I've led: HUDA, a free bulk user-management app for Autodesk Construction Cloud and Forma, listed on the Autodesk Marketplace; HubKeep, a backup and archiving service for Autodesk hubs; a free LiDAR room scanner for iPhone and iPad with DXF, USDZ and PDF exports; and the Terraform and ECS infrastructure behind CoolCalc's HVAC design platform.
I use AI as part of a disciplined engineering process: clear specs and acceptance criteria first, coding agents like Claude Code for implementation and tests, and human review on every change. I also build AI agents and MCP servers that connect models like Claude to internal systems. I work comfortably in English and Spanish, and I'm open to part-time and contract roles.
