At BBA Labs S.A.S., I built DOTO, an AI-powered nutrition app preparing for launch, spanning a native SwiftUI iOS app, a FastAPI backend, and PostgreSQL with a roughly 180k-recipe catalog.
I designed a multi-agent system using the OpenAI API, grounded in the recipe database to prevent hallucinated nutrition data. I measured chat-turn costs through Locust load testing and improved recipe search on a 1 vCPU server with trigram GIN indexes, an N+1 query fix, and PostgreSQL planner tuning.
I also built GPU batch pipelines to translate and classify recipes, wrote unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and implemented sign-in and App Store subscriptions. Earlier, at RPM Colombia, I managed sales for SAP-based process automation and other software products.
