At nVoq Inc., I edited medical speech recognition text and entered vocabulary and substitutions to help the platform return speakers’ text with appropriate formatting. My contract ran from March 2023 to July 2026.

Since 2004, I’ve worked as an independent contractor in medical transcription, editing, and offline scribing. My work has covered clinical and acute care documentation across specialties including neurology, radiology, surgery, and internal medicine.

At tMedica, I worked as an independent contractor medical transcriptionist from 2008 to 2023. I’ve also worked with PennHealth Infomatics, Downey Transcription, and Toth Transcription.

I graduated from the Career Step Medical Transcription Course through Arapahoe Community College in 2004. The course included more than 650 hours of training in medical transcription, anatomy, grammar, editing, and proofreading.
