At Frequency Lab Records, I record, produce and mix original music using Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Logic Pro. I wrote, composed, recorded, performed, mixed and mastered “Smile Upon Your Face” by The Kymatiks.
As a freelance live sound engineer, I’ve worked FOH and monitors at small and medium-sized venues and events, including Stone Fest, Banff Castle Rocks and Live in Inverurie. My work has included stage and PA setup, console operation, routing and troubleshooting.
At AMZ, I deliver structured music and sound sessions for adults with additional needs and other groups, adapting activities to the people involved. Sessions use live music, percussion, singing, music technology and listening activities.
I’ve also used AI-assisted development on projects including Chord-to-Colour, an accessible music-learning app built around colour-coded chords. I test AI outputs against the actual musical and user requirements, and bring a fault-finding approach shaped by my earlier technical engineering work and HND Sound Production studies, including degree-level acoustics.
