Initiated and supported data collection and geospatial analysis for the development of the Sri Lanka Navy Flood Management System. Contributed to planning and implementation of flood early warning and response activities, and assisted in designing and hosting a web-based GIS platform.

Worked as a GIS Technician in Sri Lanka's first Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) Project, contributing to geospatial data collection, analysis, and map production to support environmental protection and maritime response planning.

Conducted training in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for naval students, delivering both theoretical lectures and practical sessions. Developed instructional materials and supported student learning in geospatial technologies.

Provided IT and geospatial support within the Sri Lanka Navy, including GIS data management, spatial analysis, and technical assistance for operational and training requirements.

Completed a Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing, gaining practical and theoretical knowledge in spatial data analysis, digital mapping, geospatial technologies, and remote sensing applications.

Completed a Diploma in Web Development Programme, gaining practical knowledge in web design and development, including front-end and back-end technologies, website creation, and database integration.
