I’m a Registered Nurse with hands-on experience in outpatient, emergency/casualty, inpatient, and maternal- child health services. I bring strong clinical judgment in high-acuity environments, with proven ability to triage, stabilize, and manage critically ill patients using protocol adherence and accurate documentation.

At St. Crispin Afya Hospital, I delivered rapid emergency stabilization in the OPD/Casualty setting aligned with national emergency care protocols. I performed structured triage (adult & pediatric), completed comprehensive patient assessments, and initiated life-saving measures independently—including hemorrhage control, oxygen therapy, and basic resuscitation before physician review. I also administered emergency medications safely in line with the Five Rights and hospital guidelines, collaborated with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and maintained medico-legally compliant documentation; I carried out minor surgical procedures such as wound dressing and stitching.

In the Inpatient Department, I provided comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) in a multidisciplinary hospital setting. I administered medications safely and monitored therapeutic outcomes, conducted blood transfusions in compliance with transfusion protocols, and managed adverse drug reactions. I enforced infection prevention and control (IPC), performed wound care using aseptic techniques, responded to emergencies including CPR and acute deterioration, and ensured accurate, up-to-date patient records.

Earlier at Rennie Medical Centre, I strengthened my clinical decision-making through detailed history taking, physical examinations, and continuous vital sign monitoring to identify early deterioration. I also participated in Maternal and Child Health services, including antenatal care (ANC), postnatal care (PNC), family planning, and immunization programs, providing structured health education and counseling. Alongside my Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing and ongoing Higher National Diploma in Oncology Nursing, I’m committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with national and institutional standards, with BLS and ACLS readiness through American Heart Association certification.
