Iqra Choudhry

I’m an Archaeological Research Assistant at Lehigh University, working under Professor Anzellini to strengthen my skeletal analysis skills and deepen my understanding of anthropological and archaeological methodologies. I’m drawn to research because it rewards careful observation, disciplined methods, and thoughtful interpretation.

Alongside archaeology, I’ve built practical healthcare experience through roles that required clinical accuracy and strong documentation habits. As a Medical Scribe at Acuity Medical, I recorded histories, physical exams, medications, and imaging results in electronic medical records (Epic, Cerner) to support timely, precise care.

I’ve also contributed to clinical research and clinical operations. As a Cardiology Clinical Trial Researcher at NJ MedCare, I supported a study evaluating the efficacy and safety of Finerenone in participants with heart failure, collaborating within a supervised, patient-focused research environment.

Earlier in my training, I developed technical laboratory skills as a Pharmaceutical Research Assistant at Covance Pharmaceutical Lab, supporting immunological research through sample processing, antibody labeling, magnetic enrichment, and flow cytometry. I bring this same detail-oriented approach to my current and future projects, including dataset cleaning and analysis through the ECHO project and antibiotic discovery work in the Tiny Earth Lab.
