At SOCAR Group, I lead IFRS financial reporting and consolidation, including review of reporting packages and consolidation adjustments across the Group. I also serve as the final technical reviewer for complex IFRS consultations and non-routine transactions.
I'm leading the Group-wide implementation of IFRS 18 and the transformation of reporting processes from Excel-based reporting to Tagetik. My work also includes impairment testing, accounting policies, audit coordination, and Pillar Two exposure assessment with the Tax function.
Before SOCAR Group, I led audit engagements at Ernst & Young, EY, and participated in IFRS engagements involving components outside Azerbaijan. At RDM - Reno de Medici, I supported strategy activities through financial modelling and forecasting, conducted market share analysis for potential M&A opportunities, and followed up on a business initiative that generated approximately EUR 5 million in savings.
